The HCPS Volunteer Application is not applicable for Charter Schools. If you are interested in volunteering at a Charter School, please contact the school directly, do not complete this application. Thank you.

We appreciate your interest in becoming a Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Volunteer! Our district offers a variety of activities you may choose from when volunteering your time. Simply review all guidelines, complete, and submit a volunteer application. Upon approval you will receive instructions on next steps.

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification card including your full legal name. It is important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication.

VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES AND POLICIES: Hillsborough County Public Schools requires all volunteers and community partners to review and agree to the volunteer procedures, protocols and guidelines included within this volunteer application. Additional board policies, procedures and guidelines may apply. Submission of this application, indicates that you have read and agree to adhere by the district’s policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.

COURT-ORDERED COMMUNITY SERVICE: Hillsborough County Public Schools does not allow court-ordered community service hours to be served as volunteer time. Individuals who are required to complete court-ordered community service are directed to contact other non-school agencies.

LEVEL 2 FINGERPRINTING: Additional fingerprinting is not required for verified current active Hillsborough County Public Schools Employees.

Please fill out the application fields completely and accurately. Any person, who falsifies, attempts to conceal or omits criminal history information or any other required information during or after the application process, will constitute grounds for disqualification from potential or continued volunteer service within the District.

STUDENTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 will not be permitted to chaperone. Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older with the exception of a parent or legal guardian under 21 years of age.
