Services Privacy Policy

Raptor Technologies, LLC and its affiliates and wholly owned subsidiaries (collectively, “Raptor,” “we,” or “us”) provide a variety of technology solutions (collectively, the “Services,” and each, a “Service”) for schools, school districts and educational or other institutions (collectively, “Customers”). This Services Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to the information we collect from or on behalf of our Customers in connection with the Services we provide (“Customer Information”) and describes how we collect, use, and disclose Customer Information in connection with the Services.
Customer Information may relate to different types of individuals, including Customers’ staff, volunteers, visitors, students, parents/guardians, and other individuals. We use Customer Information to provide our Services as directed by our Customers. Depending on the Service this may include:
We also use Customer Information to monitor, analyze and improve the performance of the Services. We may access Customer information to ensure the Services are performing as expected, to address and resolve errors, to identify areas for Service improvement, and to provide Customer support. We may also create aggregated, de-identified or other anonymous statistics about the Services, which we may use to for our lawful business purposes, such as for troubleshooting, reporting on Service performance and results, and to identify business opportunities, including the development of new Services.
Where required, we will use Customer Information for compliance and protection purposes. Where necessary, we may use Customer Information to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; protect our or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); and prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.
We may share Customer Information with third parties in support of contracted Services or at the instruction of our Customers, including as follows:
Customers are responsible for the Customer Information we process through the Services, including providing any rights and choices required by applicable laws. Where directed by Customers in accordance with our contracts with them, we support certain privacy requests, including access, correction and deletion requests. Individuals who wish to understand their rights and choices in connection with a Customer’s use of our Services should direct their questions to the relevant Customer.
We implement commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect Customer Information in accordance with our Customer agreements. Services. We will retain Customer Information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in our agreements with our Customers.
Our Biometric Information Retention Policy is provided below and has been adopted by us pursuant to applicable laws that govern the collection of biometric information, including but not limited to, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”). It describes the purpose for which Raptor Technologies, LLC (“we”, or “us”) may process your biometric information, an applicable retention schedule, and guidelines for permanently destroying your biometric information.
As part of our services to schools and commitment to school safety, we require you to upload a photo of your government-issued ID as well as a selfie. We extract a scan of your face geometry (“biometric information”) from these images in order to compare them to confirm that they match. We do not sell, lease or trade your biometric information, nor do we share it with anyone.
BIPA provides that biometric data must be destroyed at the earliest of three years since the last interaction with you or when collection purpose has been met. We may retain your biometric information for fraud prevention or compliance with law, in no event for longer than three years following your last use of our services, after which we will permanently destroy your biometric information.
Opting out of SMS Messages. We may ask customers, prospective customers or business partners to communicate with us through SMS messaging. If you consent to receive SMS from us, you agree to receive SMS messages from us regarding our products or business, as well as emergency or drill notifications. At any time, you will be able to reply STOP to opt-out; reply HELP for support. Message & data rates may apply and messaging frequency may vary.
Phone numbers collected with SMS consent, will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances. The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you have consented to receive text messages, you may receive messages responding to your inquiry or otherwise relating to our products and services. Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication.
Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
We nor carriers are liable for any SMS messages that are delayed or not received.
You may opt-in to receive SMS messages by submitting an online form. You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP.
If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.
We maintain strong security safeguards to protect your biometric information, including encryption and limiting access to biometric information to only authorized personnel.
You may request to withdraw your consent to future collection, use and storage of biometric information at any time by written notice. To exercise this right, please contact us at any time by emailing [email protected].
This Policy may be modified at any time and the updated Policy will be posted in our applications or on our websites.
