District Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the EVSC!

If you're applying to be a volunteer coach for a grade 9-12 IHSAA recognized sport, you must first contract the athletic director for that sport. These coaches are subject to additional requirements from the IDOE and IHSAA not covered through this application process.

When completing the volunteer application, you must use your full legal name and answer all required questions to ensure proper submission. You will be able to select from a variety of activities and locations -- please choose all that interest you.

For application updates and volunteer communications, a valid email address is required. If you do not have one, you may use the district's email address: volunteer@evsck12.com, but please ensure you've also provided a valid phone number for communication. You will be notified of your application status within 1-2 business days following submission.

All information collected in the application will remain confidential and will not be shared outside of the volunteer program.

1. Abide by all Board policies and Corporation guidelines while on duty;

2. Be covered under the Corporation's liability policy but acknowledges the Corporation shall not provide any type of health insurance to cover illness or accident incurred while serving as a volunteer;

3. Not be eligible for workers' compensation, release the Corporation of any obligation should the volunteer become ill or receive any injury;\

4. Be required to report any arrests, the filing of criminal charges, or convictions for a crime of which they volunteer is the subject; and

5. Be required to report any substantiated report of child abuse or neglect of which the volunteer is the subject.
