We appreciate your interest in volunteering at Stafford Public Schools. Our district offers several activities you may choose from when volunteering your time.
There are 2 levels of approval that a volunteer can apply for: Level 1 is for Classroom Help, where the volunteer serves under the guidance of an SPS Staff member. Level 2 is for volunteers who are going on field trips that may result in student groups being overseen by the volunteer.
The district is covering the cost of the background checks, because of this, we ask that if you are NOT going on a field trip as described above, that you apply for Level 1 status only.
Simply complete and submit a volunteer application and upon approval you will receive instructions on next steps.
It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification card including your full legal name. It is important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication. All information collected on the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside the volunteer program.
