We appreciate your interest in volunteering at Zeeland Christian School. Our school offers a variety of activities you may choose from when volunteering your time. Simply complete and submit a volunteer application and upon approval you will receive instructions on next steps.

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification card including your full legal name. It is important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication. All information collected on the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside the volunteer program.

By providing your signature, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the District Volunteer Program. One or more of the volunteer activities you selected may require you to provide your United States Social Security number so that we can conduct a criminal background check. Your Social Security number will be used solely for this purpose and will not be retained.

Your child’s teacher will provide you with a rider list and field trip instructions. Please ensure all students on your list are in your vehicle when you depart from and return to school.
Siblings are not permitted to attend field trips. (This does not apply to after-school or sporting events.)
All children must be properly buckled with a shoulder strap. Students under 8 years old must ride in a booster seat and be seated where both a lap belt and shoulder strap are available.
Only students who are 8 years or older may ride in the back middle seat without a booster seat or shoulder strap.
Please ensure that all booster seats are properly installed and used as required.
If you choose to use your own booster seat rather than one provided by the child’s parent or the school, you must ensure it is not expired. (Booster seats typically expire 7 years after the date of manufacture.)
All drivers must comply with Michigan state laws regarding child restraint (including booster seats, seat belt positioning, etc.). Children under the age of 13 must ride in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Drivers are responsible for supervising and assisting children when entering and exiting the vehicle. If parked along a roadway, students should enter and exit from the side away from traffic whenever possible.
Cell phone use is not permitted during transit. If a call must be made or taken, please wait until you have arrived at the destination and keep it brief.
To honor family preferences, please do not show movies during transit.
To honor family preferences, please do not play secular music for students during transit.
Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance on file in the main office.
Vehicles must be in good working condition.
Smoking is not permitted at any time during the field trip.
