Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer in the Redlands Unified School District.
The Governing Board encourages parents/guardians and other members of the community to share their time, knowledge, and abilities with students. Volunteer assistance in schools enriches the educational program, enhances supervision of students, and contributes to school safety while strengthening the schools' relationships with the community. The Governing Board also encourages community members to serve as mentors providing support and motivation to students.
With the passing of AB 346 into law in July 2010, we are required to obtain specific documentation from each volunteer. In all volunteer situations, you must be eighteen (18) years or older and are required to complete a Raptor volunteer application and items 1 and 2 below.
Once the Human Resources department is in receipt of the completed Raptor application and required documents from items 1 and 2 below, your application will be processed for Board approval. The volunteer Raptor application and Board approval must be renewed each academic school year.
Item 1: LiveScan Fingerprinting
Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice is required for all volunteers.
If you have not previously completed the LiveScan fingerprint process for volunteer purposes with the District, please click on the following link to make an appointment to fingerprint at the RUSD District Office:

* Please be advised your LiveScan fingerprinting will only need to be done once (not annually) and will remain valid for the remainder of your student's attendance at RUSD.
Item 2: TB Test
A negative TB test is required to volunteer. If you are new to volunteering with the District, this test must reflect a date that falls within sixty (60) days of the submitted date to the District. Once you have completed your TB test, it will be valid with the District for four (4)
years.

B) Receive a “Health Services Voucher” from the Human Resources department. This voucher is valid only at the Redlands Community Hospital Family Clinic at the address listed below.
