Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer in the Redlands Unified School District. The Governing Board encourages parents/guardians and other members of the community to share their time, knowledge, and abilities with students. Volunteer assistance in schools enriches the educational program, enhances supervision of students, and contributes to school safety while strengthening the schools' relationships with the community.
With the passing of AB 346 into law in July 2010, we are required to obtain specific documentation from each volunteer. In ALL volunteer situations, you must be 18 years or older and are required to complete items 1 & 2 below:
- Live Scan Fingerprinting
Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice is required for all volunteers.
Please be advised your Live Scan fingerprinting will only need to be done once (not annually) and will remain valid for the remainder of your student's attendance at RUSD.
If you have not previously completed the Live Scan fingerprint process for volunteer purposes with the District, please click on the following link: https://airtable.com/app8RlzcoGuhoNvJN/pagr83rpUglzTSwFH/form.
- TB Test
A negative TB test is required to volunteer. If you are new to volunteering with the District, this test must reflect a date that falls within sixty (60) days of the submitted date to the District. Once you have completed your TB test, it will be valid with the District for four (4) years.
Options
a) You can go to your own doctor to have the test, OR
b) Obtain a “Health Services Voucher” from the Human Resources department.
THIS VOUCHER IS ONLY VALID AT the Redlands Community Hospital Family Clinic listed below:
