Roseburg Public Schools Volunteer Application

Before you get started! There is a 27-minute SafeSchools training required by Senate Bill 155, which can be accessed here (right click on the link to open in a new window):  https://pacetraining-or.safeschools.com/login.

  • Click 'Register' then enter code 093efff6 in the 'Registration Key' box.
  • Enter in the requested information and select "Roseburg Public Schools" as the location.
  • Click the green 'Register' box.
  • Complete the training module and capture an electronic copy of the Certificate of Completion so you can upload it into your application.

You cannot save progress of your application, so you will want to complete the video training before you begin the application.

Oregon Senate Bill 155 requires Background Checks, as well as Training and Information about Child Abuse Reporting to all Contractors and Volunteers. As we strive to maintain student access to full-time, in-person learning, your cooperation in following requirements set forth by OAR 333-019-1030 (COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate) for health and safety is greatly appreciated. This mandate applies to volunteers who work in school settings (around students).  In the application, you will be able to upload a copy of your vaccination card or an OHA Exception Form.

Volunteers need to submit only one application for volunteering in all Roseburg Public Schools.

OAR 333-019-1030 (COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate) (right click to open in a new window)

As we strive to maintain student access to full-time, in-person learning, your cooperation in following requirements for health and safety is greatly appreciated. This mandate applies to volunteers who work in school settings (around students).

  • Information provided will be kept confidential and only accessible to the District’s Human Resources staff. Human Resources will determine whether exceptions are approved and will inform you of approval status. 
  • You are required to:
  • Upload vaccination card
    or
  • Upload completed OHA medical or religious exception form. OHA exception forms: for medical exceptions here and religious exceptions here (right click on the links to open in a new window). 

Being fully vaccinated means having received both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or one dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine and at least 14 days have passed since the individual’s final dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The two-dose vaccines are Pfizer and Moderna and the one-dose vaccine is Johnson & Johnson.
