District Volunteer Application

We appreciate your interest in volunteering for Legacy Traditional School. Our district offers a variety of activities you may choose from when volunteering your time. Simply complete and submit a volunteer application and upon approval, you will receive instructions on the next steps. Please remember that in order to volunteer, you must be listed as an approved contact for a student at a Legacy Traditional School. When selecting the school where you would like your application to be active, please only select the schools where you are listed as a contact of an enrolled student. Do not select all of the schools.

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government-issued identification card including your full legal name. It is also important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication.  All information collected on the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside the volunteer program.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Legacy Traditional Schools. Please read the statements below and provide your signature acknowledging your agreement. 

• I am an emergency contact of an enrolled LTS student or the family member of current LTS staff. 

• I understand that prior arrangements must be made in order for me to volunteer. 

• The $25 fee is non-refundable 

• Background checks are good for two years

• Volunteering is not for the purpose of observing the teacher. An observation may be done for 15 minutes at the discretion of and when accompanied by an administrator. Secretaries must schedule the observation with the administration prior to the observation. 

• Arrangements must be made for other children under my care when volunteering, in order to avoid unnecessary distractions for students. 

• Volunteering must take place in a child’s assigned classroom. I may also be asked to volunteer for school events such as field trips, grade level events, and classroom parties.

•  In support of the school dress code, I am being asked to wear modest attire and to cover all visible tattoos that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive when on campus.

• Volunteer hours are recommended but not required

• I am 18 years of age or older
