Waller ISD Volunteer Application

We are pleased that you are interested in becoming a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS) at Waller ISD. Volunteers make a valuable contribution to the education of our students and our schools.

To complete the VIPS process, please submit this volunteer application. Before continuing, make sure you have viewed the VIPS Orientation video in its entirety and submitted the VIPS Orientation Confirmation form. Applications submitted without completing both requirements will be denied.

It is important that the information entered on the application matches your government-issued identification, including your full legal name. Please provide a valid email address to receive notifications about the status of your application and future communication. Parents/guardians MUST use the email address and phone number listed in Skyward so that we can verify and approve the VIPS Online Application. Grandparents must be added as an emergency contact in the student’s Skyward account. Parents/guardians/grandparents volunteering at a campus where they do not have a child/grandchild enrolled must complete a background check and fingerprinting.

NOTE: A photo ID is required to submit the application. Please have a photo of your ID ready to upload in the Document section.

Global Volunteer – A background check is required for Global Volunteers. Please watch for an email from an @wallerisd.net email address with further instructions. This process may take 10–15 business days.

Volunteer – Parents/guardians and grandparents who qualify for a background-check exemption should provide the email address and phone number listed in Skyward in the Personal Information section of this application so we can verify and approve the VIPS Online Application. Grandparents must be listed as an emergency contact in the student’s Skyward account.
