District Volunteer Application

We appreciate your interest in volunteering for the Carson City School District. Volunteering is a great way to make a direct contribution to the school community. It makes a positive impact on students and volunteers also gain a sense of community and partnership with teachers and families. Best of all, you get a delightful peek into what a child’s day in the classroom is like.

Our district offers a variety of activities you may choose from when volunteering your time. Simply complete and submit this volunteer application and upon approval you will receive instructions on the next steps.

For your background check, it is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification card including your full legal name, your social security number, and current address. You will also need to provide a valid email address for notification on the approval or denial of the application and for future communication. All information submitted is confidential; if you have questions about the background check, you may contact the background screening service. The school district does not retain these records.
