Welcome to the Norwin School District! We appreciate your interest in volunteering in our district. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting our students, staff, and programs. We greatly value the assistance provided by our volunteers in order to fulfill our district mission and strategic plan. Our district offers a variety of activities you may choose from when volunteering your time. Simply complete and submit a volunteer application (including clearances) and upon approval you will receive instructions on the next steps.
Please use a laptop or desktop computer to complete your application and upload documents. Using a tablet or mobile device may result in an incomplete application.
It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government-issued identification card including your full legal name. It is important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication. All information collected on the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside the volunteer program.
Prior to beginning the application process, please have all of your clearances ready to upload.
Please note: if the Act 168 Form is a requirement for your role (Employees and Board Approved Volunteers), please complete, sign & date Section 1 and upload. HR will then send it to the employer listed, for completion of Section 2. An Act 168 must be completed for all past employers where you worked directly with children and/or a CURRENT employer, regardless of working with children.
If you have any questions about the application, please contact me at 724-861-3027 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
