Our Volunteer Program offers a wide range of opportunities for you to support our students, staff, and schools in meaningful ways.
Flagler Schools uses the Raptor Visitor Management System to manage volunteer applications and ensure student safety. To get started, simply complete and submit a Volunteer Application through the Raptor system.
We offer three levels of school access and volunteer participation:
Tier A – All Visitors: Individuals making one-time or occasional visits to a school. No application or background screening is required.
Tier B – Basic Volunteers: Individuals assisting students and school personnel with on-campus activities. Must complete a volunteer application through the Raptor system and pass an annual enhanced screening. The cost is $15.
Tier C – Premium Volunteers: Individuals chaperoning out-of-county field trips, overnight field trips, or serving as coaches. Must complete a volunteer application and undergo a Level 2 Background Screening. The cost is $74 and is valid for 5 years.
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by our Human Resources Department. You will then receive an email with instructions for your next steps, including payment and scheduling information for the appropriate screening based on your volunteer tier.
Please ensure the information entered on your application matches your government-issued ID exactly, including your full legal name. A valid email address is required to receive status updates and future communications.
All information collected during the application process is confidential and used solely for volunteer program purposes.
