District Volunteer Application

Welcome to the Council Rock School District's new application website for prospective volunteers!

We appreciate your interest in volunteering at our schools. All new volunteers, for all schools and activities, must complete this application. Please note that you are NOT an approved volunteer until you receive an email indicating that your application is approved. Furthermore, staff members are instructed not to bring in volunteers unless they are on the approved volunteer list.

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government-issued identification card including your full legal name. It is important that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication. All information collected on the application will remain confidential and not be shared outside the volunteer program.

In addition to completing the online application, volunteers must also submit the required clearances which are the PA State Police Criminal Record Check, the PA Child Abuse History Certification and the Federal Criminal History Clearance (fingerprints).

To fulfill the Federal Criminal History Check, please choose one of the following options: If you have lived in Pennsylvania for less than ten years, you must obtain the Federal Criminal History Clearance (fingerprints). The link, including the code, can be found on Council Rock's Volunteer Procedures page. If you have lived in Pennsylvania for the last ten years, you must complete the CRSD Volunteer Affidavit which can be found located on our website. This form needs to be by notarized. Please upload the notarized affidavit to you application and then you can either mail this original document to our office or drop it off at CRSD, The Chancellor Center, 30 North Chancellor Street, Newtown, PA 18940, Attention: Monica McLaughlin.

All new volunteers must upload two clearances here -– the Criminal History – PA State Police and the Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance. If you have lived in Pennsylvania for ten years or more, you will need to complete the CR volunteer affidavit which is located on our website as part of your application.
