The School District of Palm Beach County Volunteer Application

The School District of Palm Beach County thanks you for your interest in volunteering.

Before going any further and beginning your application, please complete the steps below if applicable.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the School District of Palm Beach County! An email address is required to register for volunteering. If you do not have an email address, create a free Gmail account here.

If you are a Florida Public Record Law Exempt Volunteer, please complete the exemption form here before continuing. Upload of the completed document is required.

If you are a Field Trip Volunteer Driver, please complete the Volunteer Driver Form. In addition to the completed form, you will also need a copy of your insurance card and car registration to upload into the system.

Any person interested in becoming a school volunteer can do so by completing a volunteer application listing your skills, interests, preferred location, grade level, and type of volunteer service desired. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide orientation and training necessary for your assignment. You have the opportunity to select the day(s) and time(s) that you are available to volunteer, and the school will try to work with your schedule.  

It is very important that the information you enter on the application matches your government issued identification including your full legal name. It is essential that you provide a valid email address so you can be notified as to the status of your application and for future communication.  All information on the application will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the volunteer program.

Please know that your encouragement, patience and boost of self-esteem are critically important to our students.  The intrinsic value of your volunteering is immeasurable. You are a difference maker!

Your community support means that thousands of students have received the individual attention so vitally needed to help them find success.  Hundreds of teachers have been offered that "extra pair of hands" that is very much appreciated.  What cannot be measured is the intrinsic value of the services volunteers bring to the students.  The encouragement, patience, and boost in self-esteem are immeasurable and critically important to students.
